Gerhardt and Jeanette met me at the University of Pretoria (TUKS) on a Saturday afternoon, in April 2014, for their pre-wedding photo session. Luckily the weather played along 🙂
Jeanette emailed me her preferred locations on campus beforehand. We met earlier to quickly scout the locations, but Gerhardt had different plans. He decided that nearly all the locations are good.. and so I adjusted to meet his spontaneity. He played “Titanic” on the steps of one building. It was just too spontaneous to miss.
Props were big glasses, messages on heart shaped black boards and sticky notes. They had a ball on the chairs bolted to a tree log while I had a ball with my camera. His humorous side made us all laugh throughout the afternoon.
Included in their pre-wedding package was an A5 photo book (20 pages). This was Jeanettes’ comment on Facebook: “Thanks a million Magda. We have found our comfort zone in front of your lens. We are really happy with the final product. We cannot wait for the wedding album!!”
I am blessed to be their wedding photographer in September 2014 at Casa Lee Country Lodge in Pretoria. We’ll be visiting the wedding venue closer to the date to discuss locations for the photos.
